Windows 2000 & XP users:
We have had reports of our install program halting at about 40%. We believe the problem to be in the version of the software used to create the automated install. Please use this zipped version of the expanded files.
- Download (~1.7MB) whitewin-1_8-PreInstall.zip
- Place this file in your working program directory (e.g. C:\Program Files\White Instruments\White Windows 1).
- Unzip the file.
- Create a shortcut to whitewin.exe.
Note: White Windows 1 is totally self-contained in the program directory. No Registry entries are made.

v1.6 for the PARAMEDIC 22, PARAMEDIC 24 and the PARAMEDIC 26 bundled with this download.
Please check your PARAMEDIC and re-flash the firmware to at least v1.4 for the Basic, +, X and Code Pink in order to use some of the new features contained in White Windows v2.21.2.
Firmware release, v1.6 for the ParaMedic 22, 24, & 26 increase Memories from 12 to 15 and allow you to view the phase response of filter(s). In addition several minor bugs were addressed. The firmware must be updated to fully support White Windows 2.21.2.

NOTE: Beginning with v2.21.0 the manual can be accessed from the White Windows 2 Help Menu.
Copy the manual, pm-man.pdf, from the CD or download it from this site into your White Windows Program Directory (e.g. C:\Program Files\White Instruments\White Windows 2\). Although the entire text for 4700XL and 4700-2XL support is included in pm-man.pdf, just the 4700 section is reproduced in 4700-man.pdf so the user will not have to wade through the PARAMEDIC sections when working with these equalizers. Download 4700-man.pdf. This document is also included on the CD as of its version 1.2.
